• INFRAURBANISM

Several factors influence the development of the urban project. A central feature of this urban development appears to be the traffic infrastructure. There is an increased urbanization especially along traffic axes. Assessing the urban developments in Switzerland, the development in the area of traffic axes is especially intense in areas where different transportation systems such as highways and railroads run closely in parallel.
With a focus on INFRAURBANISM, current and architectural urbanization processes are being analyzed that have been developed by traffic infrastructures. In order to define an adequate urbanity and form of living, an assessment of the encountered situation is being simulated.
